Made to Order

Nothing at Timbera is pulled off a shelf. Every piece is built after you order it, in the size, wood, finish and fabric you choose. That is slower than buying ready-made furniture, and it is the reason the piece fits your room instead of nearly fitting it.

How an order works

  1. Talk it through. Send us the piece you like, a photo of your room, or a reference you have saved. We will tell you what is possible and what it will cost. Consultation is free.
  2. Choose the details. Size, wood, finish, fabric and base are all yours to pick. You can see fabric samples at our office in I-8, or our team can bring them to your home anywhere in Islamabad or Rawalpindi.
  3. Confirm with an invoice. Once the design is settled we prepare your invoice. An advance confirms the order and production begins.
  4. We build it. Islamabad and Rawalpindi: 15 to 20 working days. Other cities in Pakistan: 20 to 25 working days. International orders are discussed case by case.
  5. We deliver and install. Our own team brings the piece to your home and installs it where installation is needed. The balance is settled by bank transfer on or before delivery.

What we work with

Sheesham, also known as Indian Rosewood, is our main hardwood. We also build in walnut, acacia and kail wood. For pieces where the budget matters more than solid timber, we offer 18 mm moisture-resistant MDF with a PU paint finish, most often on consoles and cabinet interiors.

Beyond the wood: handmade rattan and cane work, travertine stone tops in matte or epoxy-gloss, high-density foam, and imported upholstery fabrics including boucle, velvet, performance weaves and leather.

Custom work

Most of what we make is customised in some way, and a good number of our orders start from a photo rather than our catalogue. Send us the reference, the dimensions of your space and the quantity you need, and we will quote it.

A few things we do not do: sofa cum beds, and refurbishing or reupholstering furniture you already own.
